New Content Release: Historical Moments – 2020 Calendar

Making the past seem relevant to the present can be a challenge in the classroom, right? That’s why we created a tool for teachers to frame history in the visual setting of a calendar!

Each month features a major historic milestone, chosen from a wide variety of eras and places across the globe, and explores its importance on the world stage.

Sample events featured include: 

• The March on Washington 
• Founding of NATO
• The Battle of Puebla 
• Nelson Mandela’s release from prison

In addition to the spotlighted historic moment, the calendar also includes “on this day in history” facts throughout the month and plenty of travel inspiration.
