Welcome to Boston! Meet your ACIS Tour Manager and head to the Massachusetts State House, one of Boston's oldest and most iconic buildings. Take a guided tour and learn about the history and architecture of the State Capitol. Next, stop for lunch at Quincy Market before departing on a walking tour of the Freedom Trail that will include historically significant sites from the American Revolution onwards like Faneuil Hall, Paul Revere's House, the Old North Church and more. After dinner, transfer to the Charles Playhouse theatre to see the Blue Man Group combine drumming with paint to create a rhythmic explosion of vibrant color.
After breakfast, transfer to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. Experience the life and legacy of President John F. Kennedy by taking a self-guided tour of the 25 multimedia exhibits at the museum. Next, take a short walk to the nearby Edward M. Kennedy Institute and learn about the history, role, leaders, and significant accomplishments of the United States Senate through interactive exhibits. You will also take part in a life-size representation of the United States Senate Chamber to debate on the Issue of the Day. After lunch at the Chamber Café, meet your bus and return home.
