London, Bruges and Amsterdam

The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Friday March 22: Overnight Flight

Depart from the USA.

Day 2, Saturday March 23: London

Welcome to London! Meet your ACIS Tour Manager, relax, unpack and begin to explore the city's unique neighborhoods. Later enjoy lunch on your own in Piccadilly Circus/Covent Garden area with some free time before visiting St. Paul's Cathedral with audio guides. Sir Christopher Wren's architectural masterpiece is an enduring symbol of London, the seat of the Church of England and famed for its dome and Whispering Gallery. If you have time, your ticket includes access to climb to the top of the dome. Tonight take a ride on the London Eye. (D)

Day 3, Sunday March 24: London

This morning, learn about London's majestic past and fast-paced present on your guided sightseeing tour. See Trafalgar Square, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, including The Changing of the Guard (pending timing). Along the way, our guide will point out more landmark sites like the Gherkin, the Shard, and the Cheese Grater—all new buildings changing the London skyline. A guided tour of the British Museum highlights is also included. This afternoon visit the Tower of London followed by a Jack the Ripper tour after dinner. (B,D)

Day 4, Monday March 25: London

After a free morning a bus is provided to take you for a visit to Oxford, including a tour of Christ Church College where Lewis Carroll penned Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and also where many memorable scenes from the Harry Potter movies were filmed (note the Great Hall, the inspiration for Hogwarts Hall). Afterwards, continue to the Harry Potter Studios (tickets provided by Group Leader).get your imagination fired up for a visit to Oxford, including a tour of Christ Church College where Lewis Carroll penned Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and also where many memorable scenes from the Harry Potter movies were filmed (note the Great Hall, the inspiration for Hogwarts Hall). We return to London in the evening. Please note: a lunch card is provided today instead of dinner. (B,L)

Day 5, Tuesday March 26: Bruges

Take a morning Eurostar to Brussels. When you arrive you will have time to explore and have lunch (on own). Hop on your touring bus and continue to the beautiful medieval city of Bruges. Enjoy a canal cruise this evening. (B,D)

Day 6, Wednesday March 27: Bruges

This morning's Bruges by Bike tour shows you the city's tranquil network of canals, medieval streets and famed market squares. This afternoon enjoy a chocolate making workshop. (B,D)

Day 7, Thursday March 28: Amsterdam

This morning depart for Rotterdam. Spend time exploring and enjoy lunch on your own before going for your Splash Tour. Arrive in Amsterdam in time for dinner. (B,D)

Day 8, Friday March 29: Amsterdam

Today enjoy entrance to the Van Gogh Museum and a canal cruise. After lunch on your own visit Ann Frank’s House (arranged by your group leader and pending availability). The rest of the afternoon is free to explore more of Amsterdam and pick up any last minute souvenirs from your European adventure. (B,D)

Day 9, Saturday March 30: Departure

Depart for the USA. (B)
