The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Monday June 5: Overnight Flight

Depart from the USA.

Day 2, Tuesday June 6: Tarragona

Arrive in Spain's cosmopolitan city of Barcelona, meet your Tour Manager and driver to transfer to your hotel in Tarragona. Dinner included at your hotel this evening. (D)

Day 3, Wednesday June 7: Tarragona

Transfer to a rice farm, with Spanish Certification of Origin, for a visit and a agricultural activity. In the afternoon, enjoy an Ancient mill visit and activity at the Espavilat del Delta. Transfer back to the hotel. Dinner included at the hotel this evening. (B,D)

Day 4, Thursday June 8: Tarragona

Morning transfer to Balfego, the Bluefin Tuna farm for a visit and tasting. This afternoon visit the final rice mill of the region before free time and dinner at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day 5, Friday June 9: Barcelona

This morning transfer to Bahia de los Alfaques Port Esportiu, San Carlos de la Rapitavisit, a mussels & oyster farm, with Spanish Certification of Origin, for an activity and tasting. Afterwards transfer to Barcelona and check into your hotel. Dinner is included at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day 6, Saturday June 10: Barcelona

Half-day excursion to Monserrat mountain, including entrance to the Monastery. Transfer to an olive oil factory where the students will learn about the oilmaking process and visit the private olive fields. Dinner at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day 7, Sunday June 11: Barcelona

This morning visit Albert i Noya winery to learn about the Penedes wine & grapes. Return to Barcelona for a half-day city sightseeing tour of Barcelona including admission to the famous Sagrada Familia & Parque Guell. Dinner is included at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day 8, Monday June 12: Barcelona

Today you will visit with an Agricultural association. The rest of the day is free before your upgraded farewell dinner. (B,D)

Day 9, Tuesday June 13: Departure

Depart for the USA. (B)
