The ACIS Difference: Headsets on Demand
You’re walking through the streets of Florence, packed with tourists and vendors and locals alike. As you follow your tour guide, leading a dozen or more people in front of you, she points out a building on the right and begins to describe it with animation and excitement. The only problem is, amidst the roar of the crowds, you cannot hear a single word she’s saying, and judging by the laughter her comments elicit in the front row, you’re missing out!
This is a scenario you won’t find with an ACIS tour. For all European itineraries, we now include unlimited access to individual headsets, so that no matter how busy the city, you will always be able to hear the commentary.
Not only does having headsets increase retention of information, but tour managers and teachers can provide directions right to student ears. That should cut down on the number of wrong turns taken!
Here’s what some of our travelers had to say about using headsets on tour:
“They are invaluable in public transport situations, especially with big groups !” – Tour Manager Espin Browder
“I can’t imagine what it’d be like without it. Best thing ever.” – Spring 2019 ACIS Participant
The headsets were “an excellent way to hear the guide – even on busy streets and spread out group members.” – Spring 2019 ACIS Participant
*Unlimited headsets may not be available on our tours to Iceland, the Azores and the Canary Islands, or on our Small Group Tours.
