Land Restoration Environmental Service Project

Take part in the Carbon and Land Restoration Volunteering Program organized by Landvernd—The Icelandic Environment Association. We will meet representatives from the Icelandic Environment Association who will educate the group on their role in Iceland and how the status is in Iceland when it comes to the environment, what the locals are doing right/wrong, what can be done, and how the erosion and volcanic activity affect the surroundings. The group will have the opportunity to help restore the land in the area of Hvolsvöllur.
