2026 ACIS Winter Travel Highlights
We’re just arriving at mid-March and already there have been some wonderful travel memories made from ACIS groups taking advantage of winter travel opportunities. Late winter is emerging as a popular off-peak time for teachers to travel, and with good reason.
Why Travel in the Off Season?
- Fewer crowds – Wouldn’t you love having the Piazza San Marco all to yourself? It’s a possibility when you avoid the peak travel times.
- Cheaper prices – You save money when you travel during the off season, and a lower cost could make it easier to recruit.
- Special experiences – Just because it’s not peak season, doesn’t mean there’s a dip in activity! Perfect example: February kicks off Carnival celebrations across the globe.
