What happens when water is protected? Fish populations flourish and even beginner snorkelers can see an abundance of beauty in shallow water. Surrounded by corals and seagrass, students will love exploring Belize's oldest marine reserve with ample opportunities to see large schools of jacks, groupers, snappers and barracudas. More experienced swimmers can swim from one side of the cut to the other, experiencing shallow reef and drop offs over the steep sides of the "cut” and seagrass and sand beds in the middle of the channel. This is a marine lover’s playground.
High about the trees is where the real adventure is. Forest fauna surrounds you, the sound of nature bellows in your ears, as you get ready to take off and explore the jungle like never before. Students will love to take their learning to new heights as they zip-line through the jungle treetops high about the forest floor. The canopy tour involves traversing from one platform to another along steel cables suspended up to 80 feet above the forest floor. Exhilaration is definitely included.
Horseback Ride, Machu Picchu, Cuzco, Río Frío Boat Trip, Cultural Exchange with Local Students, Manuel Antonio National Park, Community Service Project in Sarapiquí, Monteverde Canopy Tour and Hanging Bridges, Jauri Tropical Farm, Sarapiquí Homestay, Costa Rican Cooking Lesson, Arenal Volcano
This itinerary is the starting point for your tour, but it’s not set in stone. If there are days you would like to change, or specific places you’d like to go, we can work with you to create a personalized program that fits the needs of you and your students.
