STUDENT VIDEO: Peru Adventure

Chris Shen traveled with his classmates to Peru in the Summer of 2015. He documented his journey exploring the landscapes of Cuzco, Lima, and Machu Picchu and meeting the students of Colegio San José de Monterrico. Whether it was forging cultural connections like learning to play the cajón or Peruvian dance, exploring the mountainous countryside of Cuzco, the ruins of Machu Picchu, the llamas on the side of the road, the food, or the people, Chris’ video shows the indelible effect the trip had on him and his fellow students. It was so much more than a sight-seeing trip–it was a life-changing experience that will stay with them forever. Chris submitted this video to the ACIS Student Video Contest and won 3rd place.
