· Lunch is normally included on this day instead of dinner. If you are traveling Granada – Madrid, lunch will be taken before the sightseeing, if in reverse after.
· Call or text local guide at least one day in advance to confirm appointment and meeting place.
· The sightseeing is all done on foot so comfortable shoes are essential.
· Groups are now provided in advance with whisper sets – please make sure everyone in your group has these before heading out on sightseeing (and that you have the microphone/s for the local guide)
· Ensure all pax have tested the headphones are working before leaving for sightseeing tour. It is advisable to take some spare batteries and a few spare headsets / whispers on the walking tour in case some stop working during the tour.
· Warn the group that it is very easy to get lost in Toledo and that they must keep together.
· If the cathedral is closed, the local guide will give a brief explanation outside and the church of San Juan de los Reyes will be visited instead. It might be possible, instead, to visit some of the hidden passages in Toledo and one of the old wall gates – ask you guide in advance if this is a possibility-
· The local guide pays all entrances.
· There are no public restrooms in Toledo, if necessary, a stop can be made near the Iglesia Santo Tomé halfway through the sightseeing.
· For afternoon visits with lunch in a restaurant in the old town arrange your rendezvous with the local guide here.
· If your group has free time in Toledo, warn them about the Moreno shops – there have been many cases of tourists being ripped off here.

Best morning rest stop possibility is at Bailen; but if another stop is needed prior to Toledo there is the Venta de Don Quijote in Puerto Lápice just after Madridejos.
(If you are traveling Granada to Madrid, drive first to your restaurant for lunch, normally the Monterrey just outside the city or the hotel Carlos V, a 2-minute walk from the bus drop off point. In this case, the panoramic view (photo stop) of Toledo can be done with the local guide.)
Pick up the local guide at the Puerta Bisagra and continue with the coach up to Plaza Zocodover. Set a rendezvous time with the driver at the Puente de San Martín and take his mobile number in case of delays.
After the visit, re-join the bus at the Puente de San Martín and drive to factory for a demonstration of sword making and the local damascene jewellery, the guide will leave you here.
You can also arrange the visit in a different order, picking up the guide at the bottom of the new escalator and going to the jewellery/sword factory first with the bus – discuss this with the local guide when you call to confirm.
· If your restaurant is in the old town it is best to do the panoramic and Suarez sword factory at the end of the tour this way you will only need to get into Toledo once and can use the escalators from the bus park with your guide.
The driver meets you either at the bus park or Puente San Martin – be sure to discuss this in advance.
