Morning sightseeing with local guide.

Tour includes:

· Cathedral inside visit including the Giralda Tower

· Santa Cruz area walk around and photo stops

· Plaza de España and 1992 expo site pavillions panoramic drive including 20 minute stop at Plaza de España

· Call or text your local guide at least 24 hours in advance to confirm time and place of meeting.

· Most itineraries now have the Cathedral plus a walking tour of Santa Cruz – Alcazar is on special arrangement only so check your voucher to make sure you know what is included

· Tell the group to dress appropriately for the visit to the Cathedral. (no hats / no bare shoulders / no thighs on show).

· All pax need to bring passports to the Cathedral now – they might, additionally ask for your rooming list. Sometimes they don’t ask for anything and you just have to tell everyone to put them away but that is just how it is!– you can expense a taxi back to the hotel, if necessary, afterwards for yourself or the teacher to drop them off

· Apart from panoramic drive along the river, most of the sightseeing is done on foot due to the pedestrianised centre of Seville – warn group of this in advance. Similarly, if there is a flamenco show or fan making class etc on your afternoon program it is likely you will be out all day – make sure your group knows this.

· Please make sure everyone in your group has their whisper sets before heading out on sightseeing ( and that you have the microphone/s for the local guide)

· Your Araque envelope now contain the printout of your cathedral tickets – take this with you to save time.

· Timing will vary from itinerary to itinerary. Always check your voucher.

· Also, especially during Easter, the Cathedral might be closed, in which case you will have an outside visit. If the group is interested, the Basilica of La Macarena and its museum can be visited instead. During Easter this gives the group the privilege of seeing one of the most famous ‘pasos’ up close.

· It is possible that there will soon be a fee to enter Plaza de España – Madrid office will keep you posted.

TIMES

09.00 Rendezvous at hotel with local guide.

13.00 Tour ends in the Cathedral area – your guide will usually lead the group around the cathedral before showing them the entrance to the Giralda tower which they do on their own . Check voucher for final numbers, sign and give to your local guide.

Make sure your group has everything they need for their afternoon – the tourist office of Seville is close to The Alcazar, so if you have time during the guided visit, it is always good to run over there to pick some maps/info up for your group. Double-check that everyone has the address and telephone number of the hotel and is clear what time you are meeting next.
