Amalfi Visit of the village and Duomo, lunch stop
Paestum Guided visit of the temples and museum
· A 25-seater bus (or 2 if you have a large group) will be booked for that day only as large touring buses are not allowed to drive along the Amalfi coast.
· You need cash for entrances to the Duomo in Amalfi.
· It is possible to swim at the beach in Amalfi (time permitting).
· Check the rendezvous time with the Paestum guide on your voucher.
· Paestum: closed on Mondays.
08.30 Departure from Sorrento (10.00 Departure from Positano) Take the Costiera Amalfitana to Positano and Amalfi. You could make a rest stop shortly before Amalfi at one of the bars at Conca dei Marini.
10.30 Arrive at Amalfi. Take the group to visit the Duomo. The entrance is to the left of the main façade, through the cloisters. Give free time for lunch, there are plenty of places.
12.30 Depart from Amalfi. Take the direction Vietri Salerno then the A3 towards Salerno/Reggio Calabria. Exit at Eboli. After 10kms this road joins the Statale to Paestum (18kms). Once in Paestum village, continue till you see the signs for the Temples which now appear on your right. Park in the bus park on the north side of the site. There are bars and souvenir shops here.
14.00 Meet your guide at the entrance to the site. Guide pays entrances for the excavations (temples) and the museum. There are toilets inside the museum.
16.30 Return to Sorrento via the A3 towards Salerno/Naples and exit at Castellamare di Stabia
19.00 Arrive in Sorrento (20.00 Positano)
