0900: Tour starts

SOME OF THE TOURS MAY HAVE AN IRISH DANCE LESSON BOOKED IN THE MID TO LATE AFTERNOON, SO LOOKING TO FINISH YOUR CITY TOUR EARLIER MIGHT BE AN IDEA IN ORDER FOR THE GROUP TO EAT LUNCH AND EXPLORE THE CENTRE OF DUBLIN.

When you arrive St Patrick’s Cathedral, the coach usually drops you by the entrance, go ahead to let them know you are there and pick up tickets while the guide gets everyone off the bus and in line. Hand each pax a ticket and explain that they will have time for the shop at the end and will meet you back on the coach – which may have moved from the entrance to the side of St Patrick’s Park on Bull Alley Street, so check with your driver so that you can direct people towards the coach.  A visit is usually 45 minutes to an hour. Toilet and Shop facilities are available but slow. There are additional temporary toilets outside (to the left of the gift shop).

Upon departing St Patrick’s aim to include a Phoenix Park drive through, potentially stopping at the Papal Cross (Ice Cream Van) and on the way back towards Trinity College, include O’Connell Street and Parnell Square. Drop off on Nassau Street.

12.00 Tour ends at Trinity College.  Coach will drop you on Nassau Street. Give directions/suggestions for lunch and afternoon activities. There are no toilets in the Old Library building at Trinity if they are seeing the Book of Kells. The toilets are located across Fellows’ Square in the basement of the Arts Building. There is now a digital experience in the Pavilion building. Please check for updates on the redevelopment of the Library, as books have been removed for cleaning.

TRINTIY COLLEGE HAS INTRODUCED A TIMED VISIT SYSTEM, SO DOUBLE CHECK VOUCHERS AND TM ENVELOPE.

UNLESS YOU HAVE A BOOKED VISIT WITHIN TRINITY COLLEGE, THEY WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO BRING GROUP INSIDE FOR PHOTOS.
