· You have a long drive – start as early as possible.
· Rest stops – Moffat Woolen Mills, www.visitmoffat.co.uk on A701 or the Blacksmith’s Cottage at Gretna Green, www.gretnagreen.com, just over the border.
The Green Wellie, www.thegreenwellystop.co.uk, in Tyndrum for lunch. Can be busy but is realistically only stop on way north.
· Glencoe, work with the driver to choose photo stop. Visitor centre at entrance to Glen (Café/toilets, exhibitions (they pay).
· You may want to stop for photos and restrooms at either Luss (fee charged).
