Nuremberg Visit with TM and lunch stop

· The border crossing does not require a routine passport stop, but the driver may require a toll box for the Czech Republic, which requires a 10- minute break. Passports should be available for any spot-checks.

· Decide in advance how much time you have for your walking tour in Nürnberg. You will certainly see the fortifications, and you should include the Hospital, Hauptmarkt (including Schöner Brunnen), the Church of St Sebald as well as the castle (Kaiserburg). If you’ve time, show them the Dürer House and, ideally, make a brief stop at the former Nazi Rally Grounds (Zeppelinfeld).

· There are public pay WCs just north of the Schöner Brunnen in the building adjacent to the City Hall.

· If entry to the Kaiserburg is included, call in advance, (Tel: +49 911 24 46 590) to reserve a tour. This is essential at peak times.

· If entry to the Nuremberg Courts of Justice (Nuremberg Trials’ location) is included, then you must reserve well in advance, (Tel: +49 911 321 79 372). If your visit is to the Documentation Centre – Nazi Party Rally Grounds, Tel +49 911 231 7538 for a reservation unless the office has already arranged this for you.

· You can no longer drop off close to the market square without a special permit, and must now either drop off above the Kaiserburg or Germanisches Nationalmuseum. Allow a good 20 minutes to walk to the town square from either.
