Verona – visit
Exit from the Autostrada at Verona Sud and drive into the centre via the Corso Porta Nuova. If possible, drop off just before the walls and make a rendezvous with the driver to pick you up on the opposite side of the road. Otherwise drop off and pick up at the bus park inside the walls (see map). Walk with the group into Piazza Bra. Public toilets located here. If the group has decided to visit the arena, do this first. Buy the tickets and let them visit on their own.
After the visit lead the group down the Via Mazzini to via Cappello. Juliet’s house is at no 23 (easy to miss). The house is very small but from the courtyard you can see the famous balcony. Then take the group to the Piazza delle Erbe (market place) where there are plenty of places for lunch. Make a rendezvous here to walk back to the bus. Give free time and encourage them to explore nearby Piazza dei Signori with the Palazzo dei Scaligeri.
