Itinerary

The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Monday May 24: Overnight Flight

Depart from the USA.

Day 2, Tuesday May 25: Munich

Arrive in Munich, meet your ACIS Tour Manager and begin to explore this Bavarian capital and green city on the banks of the Isar River. Maybe choose one of the many excellent museums concentrated in the Kunstareal, or Art District, in the city center. Tonight enjoy dinner at the Hofrbauhaus. Please note: all factory visits are pending availability. (B,D)

Day 3, Wednesday May 26: Munich

In the morning, we learn more about Munich with an expertly guided sightseeing tour to sites like the Marienplatz with its famed Glockenspiel, the Viktualienmarkt food and flower market and the surfers on the Isar River in the Englischer Garten. This afternoon enjoy entrance to the BMW Museum with a Welt tour. (B,D)

Day 4, Thursday May 27: Munich

Travel this morning out to the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial, a grim but compelling reminder of Nazi atrocities during World War II. Return to Munich to explore more of the city's wonders at your own pace, and an afternoon swim at the Olympic pool. (B,D)

Day 5, Friday May 28: Stuttgart

This morning depart Munich for Stuttgart. Stuttgart’s reputation as the “Cradle of the Automobile” is highlighted during this morning’s visit to the Porsche Museum with Factory tour. (B,D)

Day 6, Saturday May 29: Stuttgart

This morning visit the Mercedes-Benz Museum before an afternoon excursion to Tubingen. Enjoy free time and Punting. (B,D)

Day 7, Sunday May 30: Parma

This morning depart for a full day's drive to Parma with a stop in Zurich en route. (B,D)

Day 8, Monday May 31: Parma

This morning enjoy a guided visit to a local prosciutto factory followed by tasting. Then continue for a visit of Dallara. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of the Exhibition Ramp, which houses the most significant cars in the company’s history. Enjoy a journey through the history of high-performance racing and road cars. Then continue to the different company departments of Dallara Automobili and discover how a Dallara car is created: the Professional Driving Simulator (pending availability), the Aerodynamics Department, and the Composite Materials Research Center. (B,D)

Day 9, Tuesday June 1: Parma

In the morning, drive south to the Ferrari Museum for an independent visit. Then enjoy a guided tour by Ferrari-authorized shuttle bus inside the Fiorano Circuit and along Viale Enzo Ferrari within the factory grounds. Late in the morning continue to Lamborghini car company. Visit one of the production department and enjoy a close-up view of how Manifattura Lamborghini works, based on four fundamental principles: craftsmanship, skills and specialization, AGV (Automatic Guided Vehicle) production process, and ergonomics and safety using collaborative robots. Enjoy an independent visit of the museum. Please note: if a visit to Pagani is possible it will replace your visit to either Farrari or Lamborghini. (B,D)

Day 10, Wednesday June 2: Departure

Depart for the USA. Please note: pending departure time you may depart from your hotel very early in the morning. (B)
