Tarragona walking tour with local guide including visit of the old walls and the Roman amphitheatre.

Tarragona – visit
The bus will drop you off at Avenida de Catalunya. You will meet your local guide at the entrance to the walls – Portal de Roser. This is the entrance closest to where the bus drops you off. There is a café and public restrooms very close to the start of the tour. Let your local guide know if you would like to give the group a few minutes before starting the tour. You will end your tour near the Amphitheatre.
There are plenty of lunch places on Place de la Font – very close to the end of the tour. There are also a few places along the Rambla Nova also lots of fashion shops along the Rambla Nova
A – Top of Avenida de Catalunya (bus drop off/pick up point) &
meeting point with local guide
B – Roman Amphitheatre – normally the ending point of the tour
C – Placa de Font – good selection of restaurants
Continue to Barcelona
Aqueduct Photo Stop:
It is possible to make a brief photo stop at the Roman Aqueduct just outside Tarragona either on the way to Tarragona or on the return journey to Barcelona. Check and see if your driver knows how to do this – otherwise ask the local guide to explain this to the group.
Drive from Valencia to Tarragona is 3 hours.
