Half day excursion to Tivoli to visit the Villa d’Este and Hadrian’s Villa.
· You will have a local guide for this excursion, who will join the group in Rome (see voucher for meeting point and time) and who pays both entrances.
· N.B. Remember that students under 18 will have free entrance to Hadrian’s Villa – make sure they carry photocopies of their passports.

Hadrian’s Villa – Tivoli 4 km
Tivoli – Rome 38 km
· Villa D’Este is closed on Mondays, Hadrian’s Villa stays open all week
PROCEDURE (timings will depend on the bookings – pls see Effetto voucher)
Leave Rome for Tivoli by the Autostrada A24 direction Aquila. Take the Tivoli exit and follow directions to the Villa Adriana, which is situated below the hilltop village of Tivoli.
Arrive at Hadrian’s Villa Park in the bus park (toilets and refreshments are available). Your voucher pays the entrances. Distribute tickets and walk the group up to the grounds of the villa where there is a large model giving you an idea of the original scale of the villa where your guide will begin her/his explanation.
Leave Hadrian’s Villa and drive up to Tivoli. The driver can drop off and pick up again in the town centre (see point A on map).
Walk the group to the entrance of the Villa D’Este, following the map. Buy the tickets with your voucher and let the guide start the tour of the Villa and Gardens. A bar and toilets are available in the gardens.
Departure from Tivoli. Return to Rome.
