Walking morning or afternoon sightseeing with local guide
Sightseeing includes:

· Lunch is normally included on this day instead of dinner. If you are travelling Sevilla – Madrid, lunch will be taken before the sightseeing, if in reverse – after. Check voucher for timings.
· Call or text local guide at least one day in advance to confirm appointment and meeting place.
· Please make sure everyone in your group has their whisper sets before heading out on sightseeing (and that you have the microphone/s for the local guide)
· The sightseeing is all done on foot so comfortable shoes are essential.
· Warn the group that it is very easy to get lost in Toledo and that they must keep together.
· If the Cathedral is closed, the local guide will give a brief explanation outside and the church of San Juan de los Reyes will be visited instead. If your visit is on a Sunday, then you will start your visit later in the day and see the Cathedral after lunch.
· The local guide pays all entrances.
· There are no public restrooms in Toledo, if necessary a stop can be made near the Iglesia Santo Tomé halfway through the sightseeing.
· For afternoon visits with lunch in a restaurant in the old town arrange your rendezvous with the local guide here.

If operating Seville to Toledo:
If lunch is not included in Toledo, make your lunch stop en route, possible at Puerta Lápice or Manzanares. There are few facilities on the C400 prior to arrival in Toledo.
If operating Toledo to Seville:
If lunch is not included in Toledo, make as early a departure from Toledo after the sightseeing and time for lunch as possible, and then make en route breaks before a late arrival in Seville. Please advise the area office if you need to change the time of your dinner reservation.

08:00 Depart Seville, taking the NIV
14:00 Arrive at lunch stop.
15:00 Pick up local guide at the excalators (“escaleras mecánicas”) near the bus station. Puerta Bisagra and continue with the coach to the Plaza Zocodover. The bus will drop you off at a bus stop for pick up and drop off only (see map). If you are eating at the Hotel Carlos V (within the city walls), rendezvous with your guide is in the lobby afterwards. Set a rendezvous time with the driver at the Puente de San Martín. Take the driver’s mobile number in case of delays.
17:00 Re-join the bus at the Puente de San Martín and drive to factory for a demonstration of sword making and the local jewellery. After the visit the guide will leave you.
18:00 Depart for Madrid, taking the Ronda de Toledo panoramic route (photo stop).
19:00 Arrive Madrid
You can arrange a different pick-up point and visiting order, e.g. picking up the guide by the new escalator and going to the jewellery/sword factory first – discuss this with local guide when you call to confirm.

If your lunch is in the centre of Toledo, you will need to use the bus drop off /pick up point is on Calle de Gerardo Lobo. You walk with the group towards the doorway ahead of the bus stop. Take the escalators up and then climb the stairs at the top to the main street. Turn left along the main road and lead the group up to the Zocodover square.
