· Call or text local guide at least the day in advance to confirm time and meeting point.

· Consult the AVE page of this technical itinerary.

· Your Araque envelope contains the printed ticket for the cathedral entrance – please make sure you take it with you.

· Guide pays entrances. You pay guide with voucher – check correct numbers and sign.

· Student passports are now required for entry to the cathedral – please make sure that the teachers are aware of this in advance. Take your rooming list as well. It is possible you will get waved through but most likely be asked for both.

· Please make sure everyone in your group has their whisper sets before heading out on sightseeing (and that you have the microphone/s for the local guide)

· Remind your group the night before that they must dress suitably for the entrance to the Cathedral e.g. no shoestring straps or skimpy shorts.

· Please note that the Alcazar is now no longer included on most itineraries

· Warn group that a lot of Seville sightseeing is done on foot due to pedestrianised city centre.

· If the Cathedral is closed, the Basilica of La Macarena and its museum make a good substitute.

· Your bus can usually drop you at Torre de Oro, behind the Palacio San Telmo or next to the Jardines de Murillo

After you have finished the sightseeing visit, give the group time for lunch – there are plenty of places near the Cathedral, shopping area is along pedestrian C/ Sierpes or C/ Tetuan. Arrange a meeting time and place
