IMPORTANT!
Free admission is granted to all visitors aged under 18 in all state-run museums, art galleries and archaeological sites. ALL passengers under 18 will have to provide their original passport at the entrance of the excavation, otherwise they have to purchase a full price ticket at their own expense.
Be sure everyone knows this before departure from the hotel this morning.
Entrances to Pompei and the National Archaeological Museum of Naples are paid through Effetto vouchers. The local guide will expedite the payment.
· Both guided services are vouchered. You will have the same guide in Naples and Pompei.
· Both sites require the original passports for visitors under 18
· The museum is closed on Tuesday
· Check that dinner in Rome is not booked before 20.30

Take the A1 to Naples. After the toll, exit at Tangenziale and follow directions Capodimonte/centre.

Meet your guide in front of the museum. The bus can drop you off but has to park elsewhere, tell your driver what time to return to pick you up. Decide with the guide where you are going to have lunch after the visit. Either in Naples (your local guide can show you a real Neapolitan pizza place) or in Pompei
before visiting the excavations. Tell your driver what time to return to pick you up.

Finish the visit and have lunch.

Visit the excavations (2 hrs). There are toilets just after the entrance to the excavations.

Depart for Rome. Take the Autostrada A3 Salerno/Naples, then continue on the A1 to Rome.
