Brienz
Brienz is the woodcarving capital of Switzerland. Two workshops do demonstrations lasting about 30 min. (See Recommended Shopping list.)
You should call ahead to reserve a visit, groups have to pay for the demonstration/museum though.
Interlaken
Interlaken is very touristy – lots of shops and places to eat, including Bucherer on Hohenweg. If you have an evening boat then you could suggest a short visit to Bern, maybe to see the bears at least! Ask your driver if you’re not sure.
