Morning or afternoon guided sightseeing with local guide.
Tour includes:
· Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família outside only (a few exceptions)
· Parc Guell short stroll through the park/ photos opportunities
Plaça Espanya outside only
Montjuic ( if time permits ) outside – photo stop at mirador
La Mansana de la Discòrdia drive past

La Pedrera (Casa Milà) drive past
It is unlikely that you will have time to visit Montjuic ( unless it is a Sunday or public holiday )
Check itinerary and voucher in advance as many groups will be visiting La Pedrera instead of Sagrada Familia in 2025
If time permits, the following may be included or substituted for the above – always consult your group leaders and then your local guide to see if this is possible, as this often depends on the traffic:
Cathedral and Gothic Quarter inside visit
Colom drive past
La Rambla/Plaça Catalunya drive past
Arc de Triomf drive past
Olympic stadium inside for photo if time
Please note that on some trips you will be expected to do a walking tour of the Gothic Quarter at some point during the stay in Barcelona. Please see the Tour Manager website for the walking tour – map, info, etc. Leads in nicely to a Culture Quest.
When doing a walking tour consult first with area office to see if there are restrictions on group size in place.
Both Parc Guell and Sagrada Familia/Casa La Pedrera have timed entry slots. Please check timings in advance on your vouchers. BE SURE TO INFORM TEACHERS OF ANY CHANGES THAT WILL AFFECT YOUR GROUP ON ARRIVAL DAY TO BEST MANAGE THEIR EXPECTATIONS.
If you are planning to visit the Gothic Cathedral you must ensure that the group are suitably dressed (covered shoulders etc.) otherwise they will not be allowed in.
If your group is staying at the Montblanc Hotel check the current restrictions with your driver. It is most likely you will be dropping off at Calle Trafalgar but it is worth asking if you can drop off at the hotel.
If two entrances are included it will definitely not be possible to include all of the above. Consult with your teacher as to the most important stops on the itinerary for their group, then consult your local guide.
Groups are now all provided in advance with whisper sets– please make sure everyone in your group has these before heading out on sightseeing ( and that you have the microphone/s for the local guide)
TIMES
09:00 Rendezvous at hotel with local guide and bus.
13:00 End of tour. Give local guide the signed voucher. If your hotel is not central (e.g. HCC Open), it would be better to finish the tour at the Gothic Cathedral rather than waste time returning to the hotel. Tell the group about this the evening before so they are prepared. Otherwise the bus normally drops you off back at the hotel (see above notes about where exactly!). Make sure everyone has what they need for free time before you leave the hotel: the address and telephone number of the hotel etc. Arrange a meeting time for dinner and make sure the group are aware of next meeting time etc
