Note the cost FROM the airport is €7.50. Buses are frequent and run from 4.30am from Trône.

HOW TO GET TO THE AIRPORT – DEPARTURE

North East of Brussels.  Take the ring road and follow signs to Zaventem Airport.

Trip time:  approx 45 mins.

Route into the City from the Airport

An interesting, scenic drive into Brussels is as follows:-

Drive into the City past the NATO Headquarters, then to the Cinquantenaire (Brussels’ Arc de Triomphe) where coaches can pull into an area beneath the arch. You will almost certainly be unable to check-in when they arrive so the group can stretch their legs and get excellent views over Brussels.

From the Arch, drive along Avenue John F Kennedy past the old European Union HQ (at the Rond Point Robert Schuman) to the Parc de Bruxelles where you can have a photo stop in front of the Palais Royale.

It is possible to drive past the Atomium but only if you are on the way to Bruges.
