The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Friday April 11: Overnight Flight

Depart from the USA.

Day 2, Saturday April 12: Porto

Arrive in Porto, meet your ACIS Tour Manager and enjoy the day exploring. (D)

Day 3, Sunday April 13: Porto

This morning enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the city. After lunch on your own, travel to Quinta de la Rosa outside of Porto for a wine tasting. La Rosa shows the whole port and wine making process from the vineyard to the final bottle. (B,D)

Day 4, Monday April 14: Porto

This morning, enjoy a 6 Bridges River Cruise on the Douro River. As seen from the river, the architectural forms of the city of Porto emerge majestically. It is a dazzling landscape, unique in the world. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon on your own. (B)

Day 5, Tuesday April 15: Lisbon

Head to Lisbon today stopping en-route in Coimbra, the former capital of Portugal. Arrive in Lisbon this evening. (B,D)

Day 6, Wednesday April 16: Lisbon

See the sights of Lisbon, once the capital of the world's greatest maritime empire. View the Monument of the Discoveries, Alfama District, Rossio Square, St. George's Castle, and then enjoy a visit inside Jeronimos Monastery. The afternoon is free to wander the cobbled alleys and squares of old Lisbon. (B,D)

Day 7, Thursday April 17: Lisbon

Full day excursion to Sintra where you’ll visit the Sintra National Palace and then visit the seaside town of Cascais where you’ll enjoy time to explore the town in the afternoon. Return to Lisbon for your a farewell dinner. (B,D)

Day 8, Friday April 18: Lisbon

Enjoy the day to explore as you wish and to shop for last-minute souvenirs. Dinner is not included this evening. (B)

Day 9, Saturday April 19: Departure

Depart for the USA. (B)
