Itinerary
The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.
Day 1, Thursday March 12: Overnight Flight
Depart from the USA.
Day 2, Friday March 13: Dublin
Arrive in the Emerald Isle. Meet your ACIS Tour Manager and begin exploring on your own. (D)
Day 3, Saturday March 14: Dublin
Sightseeing shows you statue-filled O'Connell Street and takes you inside St. Patrick's Cathedral. In the afternoon you have time to explore the Temple Bar section of Dublin. Situated near the Liffey and the Ha'penny Bridge, Temple Bar boasts cafés, galleries and trendy shops. Then become your own lord of the dance floor during an Irish dancing lesson taught by a local expert. Tonight perhaps take an evening stroll around Trinity College’s campus and the lively surrounding neighborhood. (B,D)
Day 4, Sunday March 15: York
Journey across the Irish Sea to Wales and continue to Liverpool for the Beatles Magical Mystery Tour before continuing to the walled city of York. This evening, a Ghost Tour is included for brave night owls! (B,D)
Day 5, Monday March 16: London
In the morning visit York Minster. This soaring English Gothic cathedral is one of the largest of its kind in Europe. Then drive to Cambridge for a walking tour of its most famous sites, before continuing on to London, the theater capital of the world. (B,D)
Day 6, Tuesday March 17: London
This morning’s panoramic sightseeing tour, led by a local guide, shows you Trafalgar Square, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. Continue with a guided visit of the British Museum, home to an astounding 150 million items. You'll discover objects from around the world including the Rosetta Stone and sculptural friezes from the Parthenon. This afternoon, you may wish to visit the Tower of London. (B,D)
Day 7, Wednesday March 18: Paris
Board the 180-mph Eurostar, which whisks you to Paris in three hours. An afternoon sightseeing tour shows you Notre Dame, the Arc de Triomphe and the Place de la Concorde. Later, why not stop at a pâtisserie and pick up some of the pastries for which France is so famous? (B,D)
Day 8, Thursday March 19: Paris
Start the day with a local expert teaching you how to play the traditional pastime of pétanque, an entertaining game of skill played with hollow metal balls. Later, breeze by the crowds with your timed entrance to the Louvre and discover the many famous masterpieces that call it home. Insightful commentary from your local guide highlights the Mona Lisa, Winged Victory, Venus de Milo and more as you wander through the galleries. From its beginnings as a royal fortress to its current status as the world's most visited art museum, the Louvre has long been at the center of Parisian culture and home to a collection of 35,000 works of art from around the world.

Day 9, Friday March 20: Paris
This morning, travel to Versailles to visit the intricate gardens and stunning palaces of the Sun King, Louis the XIV. Your visit includes the Hall of Mirrors, where the Treaty of Versailles was signed, and the breathtaking surroundings. Don’t worry if you don’t have time to cover every room of his vast palace. The best stuff is all in the gardens and grounds. Back in Paris, there is no better place to view the city than the Eiffel Tower, and you’ll ascend to the top floor for breathtaking views. In the evening, see the City of Light from a totally different perspective on a river cruise on the Seine. (B,D)
Day 10, Saturday March 21: Departure
Depart for the USA.

Further immerse yourself in the culture and wonders of La Ville Lumière with an extra night in Paris, including the services of your ACIS Tour Manager. (B)
