Lucerne Walking tour with TM

· Plan your departure from Wengen according to the train schedule. Allow enough time for the transfer of the bags from the hotel to the station – check that the hotel provides this service.
· TM pays for cog rail.
· The time you are going to spend in Lucerne depends on the dinner arrangement. Check the time and place on your voucher and plan accordingly.
· In Lucerne, be aware that Schwanenplatz – outside Bucherer – must only be used as a (10-minute) setting down and pick-up point. Any longer term parking could result in a fine. Ensure that your group is punctual.
· If the group wishes, you could arrange to stop in Brienz for a woodcarving demonstration, call ahead to reserve this.
Lucerne – visit.
Go first to the Lion Monument, then take the bus back the short distance to Schwanenplatz – outside Bucherer. Give your driver and group an exact time for departure. Tell the group to be there at least 5 minutes beforehand (see above).
Start the rest of your Walking Tour (See TM Notes). End the tour back at Schwanenplatz and give them free time suggestions. As they will have a whole afternoon, encourage them to have a leisurely lunch, to visit one of the museums or to hire a pedalo from Schweizerhofquai.
