Bordeaux – visit
If you have arrived by train load the bus and start your tour by driving down the Cours de la Marne to the Place de la Victoire. If you arrive from Toulouse, follow the signs to the Gare SNCF and Centre Ville and make your way to the Place de la Victoire.
Ask the driver to take you along Cours Aristide Briand, Cours d’Albret, Place Gambetta, Cours de l’Intendance, Place de la Comédie, Cours 30 Juillet and Esplanade des Quinconces, where you start your Walking Tour (see map below). Tell the driver to pick you up at the Cathedral one hour later depending on your schedule – Bus Parking in Allee de Bristol. If you are taking the TGV do not leave the Cathedral later than one and a half hours before the departure of your train.
Bus drop-off at Esplanade des Quinconces:

The Walking Tour should include the Esplanade des Quinconces, The Gironde Fountain, the Grand Theatre, rue Sainte Catherine, Place du Parlement, The water mirror between the River and La Bourse, the Quai of the Garonne, and the Cathedral. If you have some spare time it is worth doing a detour via the Porte Cailhau and the Grosse Cloche and giving them some free time in the rue Sainte Catherine, the busy pedestrian street of Bordeaux. There is a lot to visit so you need to keep the group moving!
Remember that Bordeaux is a big city and be sure that nobody gets lost, especially if you have a train to catch!
