Refer-A-Tober

Teachers tell us they’re looking for exceptional educational travel opportunities that will change their students’ lives. This is what ACIS does, but not enough teachers know it. Please help us spread the word. And because we love teachers, we’d never ask you for a favor without also providing a very sweet reward.

ACIS’ Refer-a-Tober has completed. Thank you to all our wonderful group leaders for sharing ACIS. We’re excited to help more teachers and their students travel in 2026 and beyond!

Refer-A-Tober Contest

This October, we’re outlining 25 small tasks that will add up to a very big reward!

Earn 25 World Traveler Reward points for each task you take in October.

  • Complete 10 tasks and earn an extra 100 points—totaling 350 points
  • Complete 20 tasks and earn an extra 250 points—totaling 750 points
  • Complete all 25 tasks and earn an extra 275 points—totaling 900 points, that’s enough for a free Global Conference to Barcelona, Copenhagen or Oaxaca!

The Fine Print

  • Referrals must have never previously traveled or be currently enrolled with ACIS (either as a Group Leader or Assistant) and not already actively planning. You must also introduce the referral to your program consultant.
  • No double counting activities, for example if you refer a middle school Spanish teacher at a public school you may choose if that counts to #1, 6, 10 or 11.
  • If you complete the same referral action twice you may earn 25 points per referral, but it will not count as more than one action towards the bonus points.
  • If you already follow us on social channels, let us know and you’ll receive the points.
  • All social posts and reviews must be made in October to count towards this contest and you will not be awarded for completing the same action more than once. 

Don't forget - When your referred group leader travels with us you earn even more—up to 650 points!

How to Enter

Referrals

  • To receive points (and change lives!) for referral tasks 1-14, send an email to a friend or colleague you think would be a great ACIS Group Leader and copy in your program consultant to introduce them.

Social Posts and Follows

  • To receive points for following our social channels or reviewing ACIS online (tasks 15-25), we’ll just need some proof. Please submit the form below with screen shots for each task completed. One form per task, please.
