The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Saturday May 20: Overnight Flight

Departure from the United States.

Day 2, Sunday May 21: Florence

Benvenuti in Italia! Meet your Tour Manager in Rome who will transfer you to your hotel in Florence for check-in. Enjoy an arrival briefing and then explore this amazing Renaissance city for an independent dinner.

Day 3, Monday May 22: Florence

This morning, enjoy a guided city sightseeing tour of Florence. Highlights include Ghiberti's Baptistry doors, the Duomo, the Santa Croce and the Accademia, home of Michelangelo's David. Tonight after an independent dinner attend the first concert by the Choirs in Florence (B)

Day 4, Tuesday May 23: Florence

Today, enjoy a full-day excursion to the wonderfully preserved city of Lucca, birthplace of the composer Puccini. Tour a local wine growing estate and enjoy a tasting of traditionally produced Tuscan wine. Return to Florence for the remainder of the day to explore and have an independent dinner. (B)

Day 5, Wednesday May 24: Rome

Depart Tuscany this morning and enjoy a lovely drive to Assisi, the birthplace of Saint Francis. Arrive and spend some time exploring the Basilica before hearing the Choirs perform here. Later visit an olive grower for a private tour and tasting of locally produced olive oil. Continue on to Rome, the "Eternal City" in time for an independent dinner. (B)

Day 6, Thursday May 25: Rome

Today, enjoy the sights of ancient Rome on your panoramic tour of the city. After a free afternoon, assemble at the iconic St Peter's Basilica to hear the Choirs sing the early evening liturgy. (B)

Day 7, Friday May 26: Rome

This morning take a guided visit of the Coliseum, and marvel at the ingeuity and theater of the gladatorial contests in this amazing arena. This afternoon is free to continue your exploration: you may wish to continue the Roman theme at the Pantheon, make a wish at the Trevi Fountains, or return to the Vatican for further exploration. Tonight join the Choir in a farewell dinner to celebrate your shared experiences in Italy (B,D)

Day 8, Saturday May 27: Departure

Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States. (B)
