Itinerary
The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.
Day 1, Friday July 3: Overnight Flight
Departure from your home airport on your overnight flight to Europe
Day 2, Saturday July 4: Tallinn Estonia
Arrive in Tallinn today and meet your Encore Tours Tour Managers. Check in to your centrally located hotel and have a short orientation tour of the compact, safe and pedestrianised heart of the city before taking dinner together (D)
Day 3, Sunday July 5: Tallinn Estonia
After breakfast take a food-themed tour of the capital city including the Baltic Station Market, where you'll explore the smells, flavors and stories of Estonian cuisine: you may even taste bear, wild boar and venison on this culinary journey! Later today prepare for your first performance of the tour. Dinner will be in a local restaurant tonight (B,D)
Day 4, Monday July 6: Tallinn Estonia
This morning take a trip out to the National Song Festival grounds, a huge ampitheater hosting the 5-yearly Festival itself, and cradle of the Singing Revolution in the late 1980s which brought about Estonia's independence as a nation. Later pay a visit to the fascinating Seaplane Museum, where you'll discover all about the naval history of this tiny nation, and even have the chance to learn how to pilot a submarine yourself! Dinner tonight is back in the city center at a downtown restaurant. (B,D)
Day 5, Tuesday July 7: Riga
After breakfast check out and head South towards the second country of this tour, Latvia. First stop across the border is the Gauja National Park where you can take a kayaking trip down the Gauja river before enjoying a riverside lunch. Later continue to the capital Riga and check into your next hotel before having dinner together (B,D)
Day 6, Wednesday July 8: Riga
Today is a day for exploring the city in many different ways! First take the City Hunt, a fun team-building scavenger hunt to find hidden mysteries and places of Riga by using a series of clues. Then discover the musical heritage of the city with a backstage tour of the Opera House, before paying a visit to the Laima Chocolate Museum, one of the most famous brands in the Baltics, and enjoying a chocolate-making workshop. A possible impromptu may occure today. If you have room, dinner is in your hotel (B,D)
Day 7, Thursday July 9: Vilnius
After breakfast check out of your hotel and head for your final stop and final capital city on the tour, Vilnius. En route stop off at the 360 Trampoline Park and (literally!) take the weight off your feet! Continue to your city center hotel and take dinner together in a local restaurant. (B,D)
Day 8, Friday July 10: Vilnius
After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a morning visit to Trakai Castle. Standing on the Island of Lake Galve, this world famous Gothic Castle provides some of the country's most iconic views. Take part in a Kibinai-making workshop where you'll produce the famous mini savory pastries before dining on the fruits of your endeavors! Finally perform your last concert on the tour back in Vilnius, possibly as part of a cultural festival in St John's Church (B,D)
Day 9, Saturday July 11: Departure
After breakfast at your hotel and check out, head for the airport and your flight home back to the USA (B)
