Itinerary

Day 1, Thursday July 2: Overnight Flight

Departure from the United States.

Day 2, Friday July 3: Llangollen

Welcome to the UK! Upon arrival, meet your Encore Tour Manager and transfer to Llangollen, Wales where you will check into your festival accommodations and enjoy a group dinner together at your hotel. (D)

Day 3, Saturday July 4: Llangollen

Today enjoy a full days experience of the Eistedfodd Llangollen Music Festival! Enjoy dinner together tonight at your hotel. (B,D)

Day 4, Sunday July 5: Llangollen

Today enjoy a full days experience of the Eistedfodd Llangollen Music Festival! Enjoy dinner together tonight at your hotel. (B,D)

Day 5, Monday July 6: Glasgow

Enjoy a scenic journey north to Scotland today. Your first stop will be in the musical city of Liverpool where you'll see St George’s Hall, before continuing through the English Lake District, a long time source of inspiration for many artists, and into the lowlands of Scotland to Glasgow. Check into your next hotel and have dinner together. (B,D)

Day 6, Tuesday July 7: Highlands

A spectacular scenic journey unfolds as you follow Loch Lomond to the Vale of Glencoe and on to Oban , along the West Coast to the village of Plockton. This afternoon, participate in an afternoon exchange concert with Plockton High School Choir (pending final scheduling). Enjoy a joint fellowship dinner with your new friends this evening. (B,D)

Day 7, Wednesday July 8: Highlands

Discover the breathtaking beauty of the Isle of Skye, where dramatic landscapes and rich heritage await. Cross from mainland Scotland via the iconic Skye Bridge and step into a world of stunning scenery, charming villages, and ancient history. As you explore this enchanting island, there may even be a special opportunity to sing in one of its historic chapels(pending approval). (B,D)

Day 8, Thursday July 9: Aberdeen

A delightful, scenic journey awaits you as you traverse Scotland from west to East, taking in the spectacular scenery of heather-clad moorlands, pristine lochs and perhaps the most impressive of all – Loch Ness. Journey by way of Inverness through the Grampian Mountains to Aberdeen, the city of Granite on the eastern Scottish coast. Enjoy a cruise on the famous Loch Ness, before continuing to Aberdeen. This afternoon, perform your next exchange concert with a local school in the Aberdeen area (pending final scheduling). (B,D)

Day 9, Friday July 10: Edinburgh

The charming medievel city of Edinburgh awaits you today. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour seeing the Georgian New Town, Princes Street, Calton Hill, views of Arthur’s Seat and ending with a visit to the famous castle. Check into your next hotel and have dinner together.

Day 10, Saturday July 11: Edinburgh

Enjoy a musical morning local Scottish bag pipers – who will demonstrate thei musical skills and ask you to join in! This afternoon, participate in your final exchange and joint concert with a local school choir Edinburgh (pending final scheduling). Celebrate your performance tour of the UK with a special, farewell dinner together! (B,D)

Day 11, Sunday July 12: Departure

Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States.
