Itinerary
The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.
Day 1, Monday July 27: Montreal
Depart from Boston on your 6-day tour of "La Belle Province"! on your luxury coach with stops along the way in Vermont. Arrive in Montreal, the second largest French speaking city in the world and a city rich in culture and the tradition of jazz music. Meet with your Tour Manager who will show you the Old Port of Monteal. Then your Tour Manager will assist you with check-in to your hotel. After an arrival briefing to discuss the details of your tour, enjoy dinner this evening at a local restaurant (D)
Day 2, Tuesday July 28: Montreal
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a guided tour of Montreal, including the historic streets of Old Montreal, the stunning Notre-Dame Basilica, and panoramic views from the Mount Royal overlook. Then visit to either the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts or the Pointe-à-Callière Museum, exploring the city’s rich artistic and historical treasures. Lunch is on your own in Old Montreal, with time to explore its cafés and boutiques. In the afternoon, gather for rehearsal and sound check at your performance venue. Your first concert will be this afternoon followed by dinner together this evening.. Overnight in Montreal. (B,D)
Day 3, Wednesday July 29: Quebec
Wake up and enjoy breakfast at your hotel before checking out and departing for Quebec City. Upon arrival, embark on a guided bus tour of Greater Quebec, followed by free time for lunch and shopping in charming Old Quebec. Experience a scenic ride across the majestic St. Lawrence River on the Quebec ferry boat, offering spectacular views of the illuminated Château Frontenac and the city’s historic fortifications. Back on shore, take the funiculaire glass elevator to the Dufferin Terrace for breathtaking panoramic views and perfect photo opportunities. Check into your hotel and freshen up before a festive dinner at a traditional sugar shack. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Quebec City. (B.D)
Day 4, Thursday July 30: Quebec
Wake up and enjoy breakfast at your hotel before boarding your motor coach for a scenic tour of the Beaupré Coast, known for its sweeping panoramic views and unique cultural experiences. Begin with a visit to the Albert Gilles Copper Museum to admire hundreds of handcrafted copper statues, paintings, jewelry, and more, followed by the Christorama Museum, featuring 50 intricate silver tablets recounting the life of Christ. Continue on to the stunning Basilique Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, one of Quebec’s most significant religious landmarks. Pending availability and approval, your group may have the opportunity to perform at a local venue. Enjoy lunch on the picturesque Île d’Orléans, then take time to explore local wineries and farms as you tour the island. Conclude your adventure with a stop at Montmorency Falls—100 feet higher than Niagara Falls—an ideal spot for memorable photos. Return to your hotel with free time to freshen up before dinner at a local bistro. Overnight in Quebec City.(B,D)
Day 5, Friday July 31: Quebec
Wake up and enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Pending availability and approval, take part in an exchange performance with a local choir. Enjoy free time to mingle with your fellow travelers and have lunch together. This afternoon, visit the Citadelle of Québec, an active military installation for the Canadian Forces and the official residence of both the Monarch of Canada and the Governor General. Known as the largest British fortress in North America, the Citadelle offers a fascinating look into Canada’s history. Return to your hotel for some free time to freshen up and perhaps do some shopping on your own. This evening, depart for a special farewell dinner in charming Old Québec before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay (B,D)
Day 6, Saturday August 1: Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and board your private coach. Depart for home with lasting memories of inspiring gospel music, meaningful fellowship, and the rich culture of Quebec and Montreal.
