Day 2, Saturday February 14: Tallinn Estonia

Welcome to Estonia and the city of Tallinn. Tallinn blends medieval tranquility and modern urban life with its many shops, galleries, souvenir markets, outdoor cafés and restaurants. Explore with your local guide as you pass through the historical Upper Town, featuring the 13th-century Cathedral of Saint Mary the Virgin, the oldest church in mainland Estonia. You’ll also visit the ornate, onion-domed Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, built in 1900 under Russian rule. Panorama platforms offer scenic views of the sea and the town, and a tour of Lower Town shows off its medieval merchants’ and guild buildings and Tallinn’s Gothic Town Hall. Also view the beautiful Kadriorg Parkwith its palace, Russalka monument, and the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds, where the famous Estonian Song Festival is held once every five years. (B,D)

Day 3, Sunday February 15: Tallinn Estonia

Start your day with breakfast before embarking on a guided city tour of Tallinn. Begin by exploring the Upper Town, where you'll visit Toompea Fortress and the Parliament, as well as the stunning Orthodox and Lutheran cathedrals. Don't miss the panoramic viewpoint for breathtaking views of the city. Next, discover the Lower Town, with highlights including the historic Town Hall Square and the Merchant Guild Houses. Continue to admire the beauty of Kadriorg Park, home to the impressive Kadriorg Palace, the Russalka Monument, and the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds, where the iconic Estonian Song Festival is celebrated every five years. After an independent lunch, enjoy an afternoon rehearsal and concert in Tallinn. (B,D)

Day 4, Monday February 16: Riga

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Riga, with an exciting stop along the way at Gauja National Park. Here, you can explore the scenic Hill of Dainu, a historic and peaceful spot known for its panoramic views. Next, visit Gutmana Cave, the largest and most famous cave in the Baltics, which has been a site of legend for centuries. Continue your journey with a stop at the impressive Sigulda Castle ruins, offering a glimpse into the region’s medieval past. Not far from there, you’ll discover the well-preserved 13th-century Turaida Castle, built under the direction of the Teutonic Knights and the Bishop of Riga. Enjoy a delicious lunch before continuing your drive to Riga. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy some free time to explore the city on your own. The evening is free for an independent dinner at your leisure. (B,D)

Day 5, Tuesday February 17: Riga

Enjoy breakfast before starting your day with a city tour of Riga. Explore the charming Old Town, encircled by a scenic water channel, and visit iconic landmarks such as the renowned Dome Cathedral, St. John’s and St. Peter’s Churches. Continue to the Freedom Monument, the National Opera, Parliament, and the Castle, all set against the backdrop of Riga’s cozy, spacious squares. Don't miss the striking Art Nouveau district, known for its remarkable architectural beauty. After an independent lunch, enjoy a fascinating backstage tour of the Riga Opera House. Spend the rest of the afternoon at your leisure, before savoring a delicious dinner. (B,D)

Day 6, Wednesday February 18: Riga

Start your day with breakfast before heading to the Riga Occupation Museum. This poignant museum offers a detailed account of Latvia’s history from 1940 to 1991, a period marked by occupations first by the Soviet Union, then Nazi Germany. The exhibits provide a moving insight into the struggles and resilience of the Latvian people during these tumultuous years. In the afternoon, take part in a rehearsal followed by a concert in Riga, showcasing the talent and spirit of the performers. (B,D)

Day 7, Thursday February 19: Vilnius

After a delicious breakfast, depart for Vilnius, Lithuania’s picturesque capital. Along the way, stop in Rundale for a fascinating excursion to the Rundale Palace, often referred to as the "Versailles of the Baltics." Designed by the renowned Italian architect Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli, who also created the Hermitage Palace in St. Petersburg, Rundale Palace is a masterpiece of Baroque architecture, adorned with elegant gardens and stunning interiors. Next, continue your journey to the iconic Hill of Crosses, an extraordinary pilgrimage site where over 50,000 crosses of all sizes and materials are displayed. The hill has become a symbol of Lithuania’s strength and faith, and your visit will offer a deeply moving experience as you walk among the crosses, each one representing personal stories of devotion. In the late afternoon, arrive in Vilnius and check into your hotel. After settling in, you’ll have free time to relax or begin exploring the vibrant city at your leisure (B,D)

Day 8, Friday February 20: Vilnius

After a fulfilling breakfast, set off for a guided city tour of Vilnius, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its rich history and stunning architecture. Begin with a visit to the iconic Cathedral Square, where you'll admire the striking Vilnius Cathedral and its impressive bell tower. Then, continue to the Presidential Palace Square, the heart of Lithuania's political life, before heading to the prestigious Vilnius University, one of the oldest in Eastern Europe. As you stroll through the city, you'll explore the charming Gothic corner, home to the beautiful churches of St. Anne and St. Bernardine, both architectural gems with deep historical significance. You'll also visit the old Jewish ghetto, where the resilient spirit of Vilnius' Jewish community can still be felt today. From there, make your way to Town Hall Square, a lively area surrounded by elegant buildings, and finish your tour with a visit to the Gates of Dawn, an important religious and cultural landmark. In the afternoon, drive to Kaunas, Lithuania’s second-largest city, known for its vibrant arts scene and rich cultural heritage. Upon arrival, you’ll have the opportunity to rehearse for a special concert, possibly accompanied by a local band. Day 9, Saturday February 21: Vilnius

After a hearty breakfast, the morning is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Take this opportunity to further explore the charming city of Vilnius. Perhaps visit the artistic Užupis district, known for its bohemian atmosphere and quirky "Republic" or stroll through the city’s cobbled streets to discover hidden cafes, boutique shops, and the vibrant local culture. You may also want to visit some of the city's lesser-known gems, such as the Vilnius Museum of Illusions or take a peaceful walk in the Bernardine Gardens. In the afternoon, gather for a final rehearsal in preparation for your concert, a perfect way to bring together the music and memories of your journey. Following the rehearsal, you will perform a concert in one of Vilnius' beautiful venues, making this an unforgettable moment of cultural exchange. After the concert, join your fellow travelers for a farewell dinner.. Enjoy a traditional Lithuanian meal,as you reflect on the highlights of your journey through the Baltic (B,D)
