The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Monday August 18: Overnight Flight

Depart the U.S. on your overnight flight to Vienna.

Day 2, Tuesday August 19: Vienna

Arrive at the Vienna airport and meet your Encore Tour Manager. Transfer to the 4-star Hotel Senator for check-in. After time to freshen up, your Tour Manager will take you on an introductory walking tour to aquaint yourself with this elegant city. Enjoy dinner together at a local restaurant this evening. (D)

Day 3, Wednesday August 20: Vienna

After breakfast at your hotel, meet a local guide for a tour of this elegant city that highlights the musically rich history of Vienna. From St. Stephen's Cathedral, to the Vienna House of Music and the famous graveyard where Vienna's Maestos rest, the day will be filled with music history and sounds of Waltz. Enjoy dinner together at a local restaurant this evening. Today's highlight is the is your first evening concert performance in Europe! Venue possibilities include the historic Imperial Church. After your great first concert, enjoy dinner together at a local restaurant. (D)

Day 4, Thursday August 21: Salzburg

After breakfast at your hotel, travel to the city of Mozart, Salzburg. On your way to Salzburg, enjoy a stop and tour of the UNESCO historical site and amazing example of Baroque architecture, Melk Abbey. During your tour, your choir may have the chance to present a brief impromptu performance. Upon arrival check into the 4-star Hotel Virgil Hotel Salzburg. Next, enjoy a guided city sightseeing tour that includes the Mozart Birthplace and funicular passes to the Hohensalzburg fortress for magnificent views of the city. After time for lunch on your own, enjoy a walking tour and visit of the elegant Mirabell gardens. This evening, enjoy dinner together at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day 5, Friday August 22: Salzburg

This morning after breakfast at your hotel, visit Hallstatt for a fun and interactive tour of the Salt Mines that give name to the city of Salzburg! This afternoon, prepare for your performance, which will take place in a local venue here in this beautiful lakeside town, such as Christus Kirche. After dinner together follwoing your concert, return to Salzburg for the overnight. (B,D)

Day 6, Saturday August 23: Munich

Today visit the opulent Palace of King Ludwig II, Neuschwanstein Castle. After free time for lunch on your own, continue to the Bavarian capitol, Munich. Stop at the stunning Nymphenburg Palace and gardens where entrances are also included, before checking in at the 4-star NH Hotel Munich. Enjoy dinner together at a local restaurant this evening. Day 7, Sunday August 24: Munich

After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy guided sightseeing of Munich highlights the Mirienplatz with its half-timbered buildings and the City Hall and the famous glockenspiel. Also included are entrances to the tower of the Frauenkirche church that offers magnificent views of the city. After enjoiying lunch on your own, prepare for your concert performance in Munich. Concert venues include the historic Erloserkirche, which is famous for its musical activity and attracts wonderful audiences. Enjoy dinner together at a local restaurant this evening. (B,D)

Day 8, Monday August 25: Departure

Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States. (B)
