Performance Tour of Europe

The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Monday June 16: Overnight Flight

Departure from the United States.

Day 2, Tuesday June 17: Lucerne

Arrive in Zurich, meet your tour manager and transfer by bus to the beautiful town of Lucern. Begin to familiarize yourself with the area with your tour manager and check in to the hotel. Freshen up, relax and enjoy a welcome dinner together and tour orientation this evening. (D)

Day 3, Wednesday June 18: Lucerne

Following breakfast at the hotel, as throughout your tour, depart for Kriens where you'll have a morning masterclass. Following the masterclass, return to Lucerne where you'll enjoy a guided walking tour of the beautiful city. Later this afternoon, transfer back to Kriens where you'll have your first concert performance as a party of the Day of Music festival at 3:00pm! Dinner will be together in a local restaurant this evening. (B,D)

Day 4, Thursday June 19: Interlaken

This morning, check out of the hotel and journey through gorgeous scenery to Interlaken. On the way, you'll stop in the village of Lauterburnnen and see the Trümmelbach waterfalls. Upon arrival in Interlaken, enjoy a city walking tour, followed by dinner together. (B,D)

Day 5, Friday June 20: Interlaken

Following breakfast, enjoy a full day excursion to Jungfraujoch. Jungfraujoch, often referred to as the "Top of Europe," is a saddle in the Bernese Alps, connecting the peaks of Jungfrau and Mönch, known for its breathtaking views and high-altitude attractions. Enjoy dinner together and spend your overnight in Interlaken. (B,D)

Day 6, Saturday June 21: Freiburg

Depart from Interlaken for the Black Forest Area. Stop in Bern where you'll have time to explore the well-preserved medieval old town, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then continue to Black Forest and check into your hotel in Freiburg, and enjoy dinner together. (B,D)

Day 7, Sunday June 22: Freiburg

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Strasbourg where you'll have a walking tour. Enjoy some leisure time to have lunch on your own. This afternoon, you'll transfer to St. Thomas Church where you'll have rehearsal and your next concert performance at 5:00pm! Have dinner together at a local restaurant following the performance before returning to Freiburg. (B,D)

Day 8, Monday June 23: Freiburg

This morning, you'll have a local guide will take you on a guided walking tour of the vibrant city of Freiburg. An impromptu performance may be possible today at the Music Pavillion at Stadtgarten. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the city at your own pace. Enjoy dinner together this evening. (B,D)

Day 9, Tuesday June 24: Heidelberg

This morning, depart for Heidelberg, stopping for lunch en route. Upon arrival, drop your luggage off at the hotel and head to the Heiliggeistkirche where you'll rehearse and perform your final concert of the tour at 3:00pm. After the performance, enjoy dinner together and check into the hotel. (B,D)

Day 10, Wednesday June 25: Heidelberg

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before meeting your local guide and discovering the city during a morning walking tour. After having lunch on your own, depart to St. Goar at the Rhine River. This afternoon you'll have a relaxing cruise along the Rhine River with dinner served on board! Upon arrival in Bingen, return to Heidelberg. (B,D)

Day 11, Thursday June 26: Departure

Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States. (B)
