Day 2, Saturday March 6: Buenos Aires

Welcome to Buenos Aires! Upon arrival, meet your Encore Tour Manager and local motorcoach for a guided introduction to Argentina’s vibrant capital. Begin with a sightseeing tour of southern Buenos Aires, exploring some of the city’s most historic and colorful neighborhoods. Highlights may include the stately Plaza de Mayo area, the bohemian streets of San Telmo, and the lively, brightly painted district of La Boca. Following the tour, transfer to your hotel and check in. This evening, gather with your fellow travelers for a welcome dinner, a wonderful first taste of Argentine cuisine and hospitality. (D)

Day 3, Sunday March 7: Buenos Aires

After breakfast, continue discovering Buenos Aires with a guided tour of the city’s northern neighborhoods. This portion of the city offers a different perspective, with elegant avenues, parks, and distinctive architecture that reflect Buenos Aires’ European influence. Following the morning tour, enjoy an included lunch before preparing for your first performance opportunity of the tour. Later today, take the stage for your first concert, sharing your music with a local audience in one of South America’s great cultural capitals. Dinner this evening is on your own. (B,L)

Day 4, Monday March 8: Colonia del Sacramento

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the ferry terminal for your crossing from Argentina to Uruguay. Enjoy the scenic journey across the Río de la Plata to the charming colonial town of Colonia del Sacramento, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its cobblestone streets, historic architecture, and waterfront setting. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in. There may be an additional performance opportunity in Colonia, potentially for choir only, pending venue availability. This evening, enjoy an included dinner and take in the relaxed atmosphere of one of Uruguay’s most picturesque destinations. (B,D)

Day 5, Tuesday March 9: Montevideo

This morning, enjoy a guided tour of Colonia del Sacramento, exploring the city’s beautifully preserved historic quarter and learning about its unique blend of Portuguese and Spanish influences. After the tour, enjoy free time to stroll, shop, or have lunch on your own before departing by private motorcoach for Montevideo, Uruguay’s capital city. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and settle in before gathering for an included dinner this evening. (B,L)

Day 6, Wednesday March 10: Montevideo

Day 7, Thursday March 11: Montevideo

Today offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the countryside traditions of Uruguay. Travel outside Montevideo for a full-day ranch excursion, where you’ll enjoy a taste of rural life and the warm hospitality of the region. After breakfast, check out and transfer to the ferry terminal for the return crossing to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in. Tonight, experience one of the city’s signature cultural traditions at a Tango Dinner Show, combining Argentine cuisine with the passion, drama, and artistry of this iconic dance form. (B,D)

Day 9, Saturday March 13: Buenos Aires

This morning, dive into Argentine culinary traditions with a hands-on cooking class, where you’ll learn to prepare one of the country’s most beloved specialties: empanadas! Enjoy the fruits of your labor as part of an included lunch. Later in the day, take part in an exchange with a local music conservatory, offering a meaningful opportunity to connect with musicians and students in Buenos Aires. The day culminates with your final concert, an exciting featured performance and a wonderful way to conclude the performance portion of the tour.

Day 10, Sunday March 14: Departure

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and enjoy one final taste of Buenos Aires with a visit to one of the city’s beloved open-air markets - either the Recoleta Market or the famous San Telmo Market. At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport for your flight home, bringing your South American concert tour to a close with wonderful memories of Argentina and Uruguay.
