Encore Creativity - UK Camp 1 only

May 29 - June 4, 2027

Itinerary

The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Saturday May 29: Overnight Flight

Departure from the United States if traveling overnight direct to Camp 1

Day 2, Sunday May 30: London

Arrive London from your overnight flight or make your own way to join Camp 1 at your hotel. There is a welcome dinner tonight for all Camp 1 participants

Day 3, Monday May 31: London

This morning sees your first rehearsal of the Camp in a nearby venue. This afternoon take a panoramic tour of London taking in the Houses of Parliament and nearby Westminster Abbey. St James Park and Hyde Park. Dinner tonight is independent (B)

Day 4, Tuesday June 1: London

After this morning's rehearsal, spend time on London's South Bank of the Thames, with optional visits to Shakespeare's Globe, The London Eye wheel, the tastes and aromas of Borough Market, or the serene peace of Southwark Cathedral. This afternoon or evening (pending availability of clinician) you'll take part in a choral workshop with an eminent choral clinician from the English Cathedral tradition! Dinner tonight is independent (B)

Day 5, Wednesday June 2: London

This morning you'll rehearse once more, before paying a visit to Covent Garden: enjoy the many street performers here before visiting London's Royal Opera House for a behind-the-scenes tour, including backstage, costume workshops, ballet studios and much more! Conclude your visit with a traditional English Afternoon Tea! (B)

Day 6, Thursday June 3: London

This morning visit the most recognizable concert venue in London, the Royal Albert Hall, which plays host to the annual PRomenade concert series and many other spectaculars throughout the year. The rest of today is free for you to continue to explore London: you may wish to visit one of London's many wonderful museums or art galleries, nearly all of which are free of charge to visit! Later come together to rehearse and perform your Showcase Concert in a venue such as Holy Trinity Church in Sloane Square, before a farewell dinner tonight to celebrate your successful Chorale Camp (B,D)

Day 7, Friday June 4: Departure

Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States or continue your trip independently
