Atlanta Trip

The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Friday April 16: Atlanta

Fly from Boston to Atlanta. Upon arrival, meet your Encore Tour Manager and head to lunch at The Varsity, the world’s largest drive-in. A cash stipend will be provided today for you to purchase lunch. This afternoon check into your hotel and settle in before enjoying dinner together. This evening, take a ride on the SkyView Ferris Wheel for sweeping nighttime views of downtown Atlanta. (L,D)

Day 2, Saturday April 17: Atlanta

Begin the day with a choral exchange with a local children’s choir, where you’ll rehearse and perform together. A cash stipend will be provided today for lunch. Then explore the Center for Civil and Human Rights, an immersive museum connecting the American Civil Rights Movement to global human rights issues. Continue to the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial to reflect on his life and legacy. (B,L,D)

Day 3, Sunday April 18: Atlanta

This morning visit the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum, where interactive exhibits highlight how individuals and institutions can make meaningful global impact. A cash stipend will be provided today for lunch. Then experience the world’s most iconic beverage brand at the World of Coca-Cola. Discover the vault containing the secret formula, view historic artifacts. Tonight, attend a music performance by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (subject to schedule availability). (B,L,D)

Day 4, Monday April 19: Atlanta

This morning transfer to a local venue for a choral exchange with a youth choir, where you’ll rehearse and perform together. Possible exchange locations include Columbus State University or a similar partner institution. A cash stipend will be provided for you today for lunch. This afternoon enjoy an exciting visit to the Georgia Aquarium, home to one of the largest and most diverse collections of marine life in the world. Tonight gather for dinner at a local restaurant. Day 5, Tuesday April 20: Departure

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, then transfer to the airport for return flight home. A cash stipend will be provided today for lunch. (B,L)
