Itinerary
The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.
Day 1, Thursday April 15: Overnight Flight
Departure from the United States.
Day 2, Friday April 16: Prague
Arrive in Prague, the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic and historical capital of Bohemia. Meet your Encore Tour Manager at the airport and transfer into the city center where you'll have time to explore. Dinner together at your hotel. (D)
Day 3, Saturday April 17: Prague
Have breakfast at the hotel before setting out on a guided walking tour of Prague with licensed, English-speaking guides . Enjoy lunch on your own and spend the afternoon exploring the city at your leisure. In the evening, experience a Vltava River Cruise, complete with a hot and cold buffet as you take in the stunning views of Prague’s illuminated landmarks
Day 4, Sunday April 18: Prague
Today, immerse yourself in history with a visit to the iconic Theatre of the Estates. After lunch on your own, come together for an afternoon rehearsal to polish your program and prepare for the highlight of the day — an evening joint concert with a local band or orchestra at a welcoming community venue such as the Ladvi Culture House. End this unforgettable day by sharing stories and celebrating your musical collaboration over a festive group dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 5, Monday April 19: Prague
Today is a full-day exchange with a local school, offering students the chance to connect with their peers, share musical traditions, and even participate in a workshop led by local conductors to deepen their understanding of Czech music-making. Enjoy lunch on your own, then wrap up this enriching day with a festive dinner at U Fleku, one of Prague’s oldest and most iconic breweries, where you’ll experience classic Czech cuisine and a lively atmosphere.
Day 6, Tuesday April 20: Bratislava
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Bratislava, with an independent lunch en route and a possible visit to Brno or the picturesque town of Telc along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel in Bratislava and enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, introducing you to the flavors of Slovak cuisine.
Day 7, Wednesday April 21: Bratislava
Set out on a guided tour of Bratislava with expert local guides, discovering the city’s charming Old Town and rich history. Enjoy lunch on your own before an afternoon transfer to Eisenstadt, Austria, where you’ll visit the magnificent Esterházy Palace and the Haydn Church, closely associated with composer Joseph Haydn. Return to Bratislava in the evening and conclude the day with dinner at a local restaurant
Day 8, Thursday April 22: Bratislava
Breakfast at the hotel before departing for a full-day excursion to Vienna. Enjoy a guided tour of the city, taking in its imperial architecture, grand boulevards, and musical heritage. Have lunch on your own before an afternoon at leisure to explore Vienna’s museums, cafés, or shopping streets. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant and, if scheduled, attend a concert or opera performance in one of Vienna’s world-renowned venues (to be confirmed). Return to Bratislava to end your tour of Central Europe.
Day 9, Friday April 23: Departure
Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States. (B)
