The Bonner Singers Germany 2027

The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Saturday June 5: Overnight Flight

Depart from LAX today on your concert tour to Germany!

Day 2, Sunday June 6: Munich

Arrive in Munich and meet your Encore Tour Manager in the arrivals hall. Your Tour Manager will bring you to your private deluxe motorcoach where your driver awaits. Transfer into the city center for hotel check in and time to rest and refresh before an introductory walking tour with your Tour manager to familiarize yourself with your surroundings. Enjoy a fun and festive welcome dinner at a local restaurant this evening. (D)

Day 3, Monday June 7: Munich

This morning after breakfast at your hotel, meet a local guide for a walking tour of the city center. This charming Bavarian capitol evokes charm and beauty from every angle. Enjoy the famous glockenspiel at noon in the Marienplatz. Enjoy free time for lunch on your own before meeting again for rehearsal for this evening's first concert performance in Bavaria! Celebrate a successful first performance at dinner in a local restaurant following your concert. (B,D)

Day 4, Tuesday June 8: Rothenburg

Depart Munich this morning after breakfast and travel to Rothenburg with a stop at the astounding castle Neuschwanstein. This imposing fairytale like castle rests in the mountains as if floating in the sky. King Ludwig II built many such fanciful castles while he reigned as King of Bavaria. Visit the Singers Hall that depicts beautiful paintings of scenes from Wagner's operas. King Ludwig was Wagner's biggest patron and loved the Romantic stories brought to life on stage in Wagner's works. Next, travel to the WWI concentration camp, Dachau. This grim reminder of the autrocities of Nazi Germany is a reminder that such things should never happen again. Continue to Rothenburg for hotel check-in and a chance to enjoy this Medieval city. Your Tour Manager will lead you on a walking tour of this charming city before you enjoy dinner together at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day 5, Wednesday June 9: Leipzig

Depart Rothenburg after breakfast this morning and travel to the City famous for J.S. Bach, Leipzig. After check in at your hotel, enjoy free time and a free evening to perhaps attend on of the many concerts of Bach Fest 2027. Dinner is under own arrangement this evening. (B)

Day 6, Thursday June 10: Leipzig

After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy a guided tour of the St. Thomas Kirche where Bach was capellmeister and wrote so many cantatas for services. Also included is a tour to see the Bach manuscripts! Enjoy free time for lunch on your own before rehearsal for this evening's concert. This evening's performance may take place in either Leipzig or nearby Dresden. Dinner is under own arrangement this evening. (B)

Day 7, Friday June 11: Berlin

Depart Leipzig this morning after breakfast and travel to Berlin. Thois afternoon a local guide will introduce you to this city that was once separated into East and West Berlin. Entrances are included to the beautiful Charlotenburg Palace. While touring the city, present an afternoon recital at the famous Kaiser Wilhelm Church for the many visitors present today. Enjoy free time and dinner on your own in Berlin this evening. (B)

Day 8, Saturday June 12: Berlin

After breakfast at your hotel, travel to nearby Wittenberg where Martin Luther posted his 95 Thesis. There is free time in this city as the crowds celebrate the anniversary of Martin Luther's wedding day. The Bonner Singers will present a concert as part of the celebration under own arrangement. After your concert, enjoy a special farewell dinner at a local restaurant before returning to Berlin for the overnight.

Day 9, Sunday June 13: Departure

Transfer to the Berlin airport for return flight to the United States.
