What You'll Learn

  • Following in the footsteps of writers from Shakespeare to J K Rowling, students will learn both why writers have wanted to work in London and it's role as a backdrop and an inspiration in so much significant work.
  • Students will gain a greater sense for Shakespeare and his works by visiting his birthplace in Stratford-upon-Avon and attending a performance at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
  • Students will learn about the early production of text by viewing the Book of Kells at Trinity College Library.
