Itinerary

The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Friday June 23: Overnight Flight

Departure from the United States.

Day 2, Saturday June 24: Edinburgh

Arrive in Scotland, where you will be warmly welcomed by your Encore Tour Manager. Board your private luxury motor coach as your instruments are carefully loaded into a dedicated instrument vehicle. Transfer to your hotel in Edinburgh, check in, and take time to relax after your journey.After settling in, visit The Real Mary King's Close, where you’ll explore the fascinating underground streets and discover Edinburgh’s hidden history. Enjoy a welcome dinner together as a group. (D)

Day 3, Sunday June 25: Edinburgh

After breakfast, meet your local guide for a morning sightseeing tour of Edinburgh. Explore the historic Old Town, stroll along the famous Royal Mile, and visit Edinburgh Castle, perched high above the city and offering sweeping views along with centuries of rich Scottish history. This afternoon, enjoy a rehearsal in preparation for your first performance at St Giles' Cathedral, or a similar venue on the Royal Mile, as part of its concert series. Prior to the evening performance, gather as a group for dinner to relax and prepare for the concert ahead.

Day 4, Monday June 26: Liverpool

Depart Edinburgh this morning aboard your deluxe touring coach, with a dedicated instrument vehicle accompanying the group. Today you will journey south to Liverpool, either traveling through the scenic Lake District for a more leisurely and picturesque experience, or heading directly to the city to maximize your time in this vibrant cultural hub—home of The Beatles and renowned for its rich musical and artistic heritage. This afternoon, enjoy time to explore the waterfront at Royal Albert Dock, including a visit to The Beatles Story, an immersive exhibition that brings the story of the Fab Four to life. (B,) Dinner is on your own tonight.

Day 5, Tuesday June 27: Bristol

Travel south to Stratford-upon-Avon, the home of Britain's greatest playwright, William Shakespeare. Visit the house on Henley Street known as Shakespeare's Birthplace as well as Anne Hathaway's Cottage, the picturesque childhood home of the Bard's wife. Though famous mostly for being home to the great Elizabethan master of words, this quaint historic village is also a wonderful place to learn about life in an old English town. Check into your next hotel in Bristol, England(B,D)

Day 6, Wednesday June 28: Bristol

In beautiful Bath, enjoy a guided tour of this elegant Georgian city, taking in its most iconic landmarks including the sweeping Royal Crescent, the historic The Circus, and the picturesque Pulteney Bridge. Continue with entrance to the Roman Baths and the historic Pump Room, before preparing for your second performance with a rehearsal beforehand at St. Michaels or similar. Dinner will be on your own this evening.(B)

Day 7, Thursday June 29: London

This morning, depart from Bristol en route to London, with a stop to visit Stonehenge, one of the world’s most iconic prehistoric sites. Travel will be by private deluxe touring coach, accompanied by a dedicated instrument rental truck to safely transport all instruments throughout the journey. Upon arrival in London, meet your Blue Badge guide for an afternoon panoramic tour of the city’s most famous landmarks, including time to explore the lively atmosphere of Covent Garden. After the tour, check into your hotel for a three-night stay. (B,D)

Day 8, Friday June 30: London

A local guide will showcase the highlights of London, including iconic landmarks such as Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace, St Paul's Cathedral, and a visit inside the historic Tower of London. Tonight, have dinner and then enjoy a classical performance at one of London’s renowned venues—such as the Royal Albert Hall, the Southbank Centre, or the Barbican Centre—depending on availability, offering world-class music in an unforgettable setting. Dinner on your own this evening (B)

Day 9, Saturday July 1: London

Add a full day in London to explore the city’s scenic highlights and world-famous landmarks at leisure, allowing time for sightseeing, shopping, and cultural experiences. In the evening, return to the hotel to relax and prepare for your final concert performance at Holy Trinity Sloane Square or similar, as part of their concert series, ensuring a memorable conclusion to your London program. End your night with a farewell dinner to celebrate your performance tour to the United Kingdom 2028, bringing the group together to reflect on a memorable journey of music, culture, and shared experiences, and to mark a fitting conclusion to the tour.

Day 10, Sunday July 2: Departure

Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States. (B)
