The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Thursday June 25: Overnight Flight

Departure from the United States.

Day 2, Friday June 26: Bucharest

Arrive in Bucharest and transfer to the city center. After a brief orientation tour with your tour manager, check into your hotel and enjoy the evening with a welcome dinner. (D)

Day 3, Saturday June 27: Bucharest

This morning tour the famous Parliament Building in Bucharest, the world's largest administrative building behind the Pentagon, and now named the Peoples' Palace. Tonight perform your opening concert, which could be a joint concert with a local boys choir in the concert hall at the Music & Arts University of Bucharest, before dinner in a local restaurant (B,D)

Day 4, Sunday June 28: Sibiu

This morning after breakfast, check out and journey North towards Transylvania, stopping off at the historic Curtea de Arges Monastery, before continuing to your hotel in Sibiu and taking dinner together (B,D)

Day 5, Monday June 29: Sibiu

This morning take a guided tour of the city of Sibiu, one of the largest in southern Transylvania, and originally one of the wealthiest. Built by German settlers in the 12th Century, Sibiu was the European Capital of Culture in 2007. Visit a traditional market to enjoy interesting local flavors, as Sibiu was also at the heart of the European Gastronomy Region in 2019. For lunch travel to the nearby village of Sibiel, where you will sit down to a traditional Romanian meal in a family home with fresh produce made locally. Tonight sees your next concert in a venue such as the Protestant Cathedral or the Sibiu Philharmonic Hall, before dinner together (B,D)

Day 6, Tuesday June 30: Sibiu

Today visit one of the world's largest fortified churches in Biertan, before continuing to the historic town of Sighisoara for a sightseeing tour. The city was founded by German-speaking Transylvanian Saxons in the 12th Century, and the entire Old Town is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Later it became famous as the home of Vlad the Impaler, and you can visit his home! Return to Sibiu for dinner (B,D)

Day 7, Wednesday July 1: Brasov

After breakfast and checking out, pay a visit to the Bee King of Romania in Hamba, where traditional beekeeping traditions have been maintained for centuries: learn all about the medicinal and culinary uses for all kinds of bee products. Continue to Avrig to visit the summer residence of Baron Brukenthal, and then to the Cistercian Abbey at Carta. Round off the day with more traditional crafts at the village of Lisa, before continuing to Brasov and having dinner in a local restaurant (B,D)

Day 8, Thursday July 2: Brasov

This morning take a short walking tour of the historic city of Brasov, which is still home to the largest German-speaking enclave outside of Germany, dating back to the city's historic past as a Saxon city. This afternoon visit Europe's first natural bear reservation dedicated to the rescue and sanctuary of one of the continent's largest mammals: Romania has the largest brown bear population in the world. Later you'll have the chance to visit Dracula's Castle at Bran, before returning to Brasov to perform your next concert in a venue such as the famous Black Church itself or the Reduta Concert Hall (B,D)

Day 9, Friday July 3: Bucharest

This morning after checking out visit Sinaia and take an excursion to the beautiful Peles Castle, exploring the many secrets of the castle, including an organ built into a wall with a keyboard on both sides! Continue to the Slanic Salt Mine, where you can discover the 'white gold' in the underground tunnels and walkways. You'll reach Bucharest in time for dinner this evening! (B,D)

Day 10, Saturday July 4: Bucharest

Today enjoy a relaxing water experience at the indoor Therme Bucharest water park. Later prepare for your final concert in the city in a prestigious venue such as the Radio Hall, before a special farewell dinner this evening! (B,D)

Day 11, Sunday July 5: Departure

Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States. (B)
