Day 1, Monday June 1: Overnight Flight

Day 2, Tuesday June 2: Salamanca
¡Bienvenidos a España! Upon arrival in Madrid, meet your Encore Tour Manager and fellow travelers and journey westward to the historic city of Salamanca. After checking into your hotel, take some time to unwind. Whether you choose to relax at the hotel or enjoy a gentle stroll through Salamanca’s charming streets, the afternoon is yours to settle in and soak up the city’s ambiance at your own pace. In the evening, join your group for a special welcome dinner—a perfect opportunity to connect with your fellow travelers over delicious local cuisine and toast the start of your unforgettable journey through Spain (D)
Day 3, Wednesday June 3: Salamanca
Today, you'll enjoy a guided city walk through the heart of Salamanca, a city renowned for its golden sandstone architecture and rich academic heritage. Depending on approval, tonight will be your first performance of your tour at the Catedral Vieja De Salamanca, depending on approval.
Day 4, Thursday June 4: Salamanca
Today, depart for the walled city of Ávila, renowned for its remarkably preserved Medieval Walls dating back to the 11th century. Enjoy a guided tour, taking in the breathtaking views of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue to Segovia, where you'll visit the Alcázar of Segovia, a fortress that inspired Disney’s Cinderella Castle. Return to Salamanca, where you'll have time for dinner this evening. (B)
Day 5, Friday June 5: Salamanca
In the morning, you are free to explore Salamanca at your leisure. In the afternoon, travel to Medina Seca for your second performance as joint concert with a local ensemble, followed by a festive group dinner. Return to Salamanca overnight.
Day 6, Saturday June 6: Burgos
Today, you'll depart for the celebrated Ribera del Duero wine region, one of Spain's premier viticultural areas. Surrounded by rolling vineyards and historic villages, you'll enjoy a guided visit to a traditional wine cellar, where you'll learn about the region's winemaking heritage and sample some of its acclaimed vintages. A group lunch is included today. Later, check into your hotel in Burgos and have dinner. (B, L)
Day 7, Sunday June 7: Burgos
This morning, pending approval, you will participate in Mass at Burgos Cathedral, followed by a guided walking tour of this historic city. Discover Burgos’ rich heritage and striking Gothic architecture, including the UNESCO-listed Burgos Cathedral, a masterpiece and the final resting place of El Cid. Enjoy the afternoon exploring Burgos further on foot with your guide, taking in its charming old town, medieval landmarks, and vibrant plazas. Overnight in Burgos.
Day 8, Monday June 8: San Sebastian
Depart in the morning for the dynamic city of Bilbao, the beating heart of the Basque Country. Known for its blend of cutting-edge design and rich industrial past, Bilbao offers a perfect balance of old and new. Discover the city’s highlights, including a visit to the world-famous Guggenheim Museum. Designed by architect Frank Gehry, this architectural marvel houses an impressive collection of contemporary and modern art and is an icon of Bilbao’s transformation. In the afternoon, continue your journey through the Basque landscape to the picturesque coastal city of San Sebastián. With its stunning beaches, Belle Époque charm, and culinary reputation, San Sebastián is a true gem. After checking into your hotel, the evening is yours to relax and soak in the seaside atmosphere. Day 9, Tuesday June 9: San Sebastian
Discover the coastal elegance of San Sebastián at your own pace. Perhaps take time to explore the city's charming Old Town, walk along the sparkling shores of La Concha Bay, or relax and take in the stunning scenery. You'll have free time for lunch, perfect for sampling the region's world-famous pintxos and fresh Basque specialties. In the afternoon, regroup and prepare for your third concert performance of the tour in the San Sebastián area in conjunction with a local ensemble. (B)
Day 10, Wednesday June 10: San Sebastian
After breakfast, depart for Hondarribia, a charming Basque town near the French border. Take some time to explore the quaint streets and enjoy the local atmosphere. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Biarritz, a beautiful French seaside town known for its stunning beaches and vibrant cultural scene. Explore the city’s highlights, including the Biarritz Lighthouse and the iconic Rocher de la Vierge rock formation. (B)
Day 11, Thursday June 11: Madrid
Depart San Sebastián and travel to the legendary city of Pamplona, renowned for the world-famous Running of the Bulls. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided walking tour through the city's charming streets, where stories of ancient traditions, literary legends, and cultural heritage come to life. Then, journey to the country's capital city of Madrid, where you'll check into your final hotel. (B)
Day 12, Friday June 12: Madrid
Wake up this morning and have breakfast. This afternoon, prepare for your fourth and final concert performance of the tour! Celebrate your successful performance tour of Spain with a farewell dinner together tonight. (B, D)
Day 13, Saturday June 13: Departure
Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States. (B)
