Performance Tour to Croatia, Slovenia & Italy

The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Wednesday June 10: Overnight Flight

Departure from the United States.

Day 2, Thursday June 11: Split

Arrive in Croatia this morning and meet your Encore Tour Manager who will transfer you to your hotel. This evening, begin to explore Split with your Tour Manager and enjoy a welcome dinner together. (D)

Day 3, Friday June 12: Split

Discover the city of Split on a guided sightseeing tour where you'll see the highlights of the old town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, including the relics of Diocletian's Palace, a palace and fort built by the retired Roman emperor in the 4th century around which the city itself has grown. This afternoon, rehearse for your debut concert performance. A possible venue is St. Francis Church! (B,D)

Day 4, Saturday June 13: Split

This morning, visit the coastal town of Trogrir. It's Old Town is located on a small island and is known for its mix of Renaissance, Baroque and Romanesque buildings. This afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace. (B,D)

Day 5, Sunday June 14: Zadar

Today travel north up the Adriatic Coast to Zadar where you will explore the historic old town of Roman ruins and medieval churches with your Tour Manager. (B,D)

Day 6, Monday June 15: Ljubljana

Journey today to Ljubljana this morning, the pocket-sized capital of Slovenia, boasting a dazzling hilltop castle and the emerald-green Ljubljanica River. It is often referred to as Salzburg of the South. On arrival, check in to the hotel and enjoy time to explore at your leisure today. (B,D)

Day 7, Tuesday June 16: Ljubljana

This morning, a local guide will take you on a sightseeing tour of the city to see the many highlights. This afternoon, rehearse for tonight's concert performance at a local venue such as St. Jackob's Church. (B,D)

Day 8, Wednesday June 17: Trieste

Italy awaits you today as you travel to the city of Trieste. Check into your hotel and have a brief walking tour with your Tour Manager. (B,D)

Day 9, Thursday June 18: Venice

Depart for Venice today! Known as the Queen of the Adriatic, Venice consists of an archipelago carved by nearly 150 canals into 118 different islands. It is simply incomparable! On arrival, check into the hotel and start exploring on your own. (B,D)

Day 10, Friday June 19: Venice

Meet your Tour Manager for a walking tour around St Mark's, including St. Mark's Square and the Basilica. See the famous "Bridge of Sighs" which connects the Doge's Palace to the old prison. During your free time this afternoon, you may wish to take a gondola ride through the city's beautiful canals or visit the Peggy Guggenheim museum. This afternoon, come together to rehearse for your final concert this evening at the Chiesa di San Rocco. (B,D)

Day 11, Saturday June 20: Departure

Transfer to the airport for return flight to the United States. (B)
