Itinerary
The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.
Day 1, Saturday June 20: Overnight Flight
Depart from the US on your flight to London!
Day 2, Sunday June 21: Bristol
Arrive at London Heathrow airport and meet your Encore Tour Managers. Take the short trip to the town of Windsor, known for its impressive castle which is still home to the British Royal Family: look out for the flag flying to indicate that His Majesty the King is at home! After a short tour of the town with your tour managers, depart west for the pretty Cotswold region, popular with wealthy London commuters and US talk-show hosts alike! Check into your hotel for dinner this evening. (D)
Day 3, Monday June 22: Bristol
This morning after breakfast journey to the ancient Roman city of Bath, now a busy city offering a wealth of mainstream and quirky independent shops. Your trip includes a visit to the restored Roman Baths themselves as well as the historic Abbey. Today you'll perform your first concert, which could be a joint concert with a local youth orchestra, followed by a chance to meet your musical hosts for dinner! (B,D)
Day 4, Tuesday June 23: Liverpool
After breakfast, check out and depart for the historic city of Stratford-upon-Avon, known prinicpally for its association with William Shakespeare. Today you'll visit the Bard's birthplace and the cottage of Anne Hathaway, Shakespeare's beloved wife, before exploring the medieval town center. Return to your hotel in time for dinner (B,D)
Day 5, Wednesday June 24: London
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and board your coaches for your transfer to London. En route make a stop in the 'dreaming spires' university city of Oxford, including a guided tour of one of the University's historic Colleges.
