Opera Scouts Take Manhattahan 2025

The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Thursday April 24: Overnight Flight

Depart late this evening on your overnight flight to New York City! Your direct non-stop flights to NYC on American airlines gets you there early on Friday morning to maximize your time in The Big Apple!

Day 2, Friday April 25: New York City

Today's entrances, sightseeing, meals and transportation are under your group leader's arrangements: Arrive in New York City early this morning. Drop off luggage at hotel while your Group Leader, leads a short walking tour. Return to the hotel where you'll have an early check-in get some rest before having dinner together as a group. This evening you'll see a Broadway performance: Audra McDonald in Gypsy!

Day 3, Saturday April 26: New York City

Today's entrances, sightseeing, meals and transportation are under your group leader's arrangements: Have breakfast at hotel this morning before heading to the Museum of Broadway. You'll spend this afternoon in Central park and have lunch as well as an exchange with students from the Met. Return to the hotel to dress before having dinner together in a local restaurant. This evening you'll see The Magic Flute at the Metropolitan Opera.

Day 4, Sunday April 27: Departure

Today's entrances, sightseeing, meals and transportation are under your group leader's arrangements: Enjoy breakfast at hotel before transfering to the Met where you'll have a backstage tour! Enjoy lunch together before returning to the airport for your flight home.
