Deep Run High School Band Tour to New York

The itinerary is the starting point to your tour, but it’s not set in stone. Your group leader may make changes leading up to departure.

Day 1, Friday March 28: New York City

Depart early in the morning by motorcoach from Richmond for the journey to the Big Apple! On arrival meet your tour manager, before taking a late afternoon tour of the famous Radio City Music Hall. Check in to your hotel and take dinner together in a local restaurant such as the San Marzano Italian (D)

Day 2, Saturday March 29: New York City

This morning after breakfast board your coach for the short journey to the Hudson River quayside where you'll board your boat for a morning sightseeing cruise of New York. After a stop for an independent lunch, continue to the Lincoln Center for Performing Arts for a guided tour of this famous venue. Tonight enjoy a pizza dinner together at St John's before taking a sunset trip to the observation deck of the Empire State building to watch the city lights come alive! (B,D)

Day 3, Sunday March 30: New York City

After breakfast it's time to channel your inner showmanship at a Broadway musical workshop: learn how the pros choreograph their shows, or stage your own fight sequence, all under the supervision of actual cast members! This afternoon it's your turn to take the stage in your own performance in a local arts venue. Celebrate your successful performance with dinner at the famous Ellen's Stardust Diner where the wait staff will serenade you as you eat! (B,D)

Day 4, Monday March 31: Departure
